We didn't get very far with human alphabet letters. The grass was too trickily and it was too sunny!!! But finger painting was a blast.

While eating breakfast with Grandma Harris, "Grandma, my cereal is more dense than milk - that's why it sinks".

Proof of life

We received an e-mail from Steve's mission president - Elder Stevie has made it safely to Germany. He couldn't be happier.

Welcome to the world, baby Luke!

Baby Luke was finally born on July 17th at 1:12am.

He's really cute and we really, really like him.

Oops... for clarification...
he's not OUR baby Luke...
he's my sister, Katie's.
But really, we still like him... a lot!

Our baby, as seen below, will be born around November 6th! Here is the head shot we got of him this past week at 24 weeks. We still don't know his name but the boys tell everyone that his nickname is Cougar.

Bowling

Okay, well, not the biggest turn out for playgroup this week. But Charlie, Jack, and I had a great time! It's probably better that I didn't have anyone there to witness my really bad bowling.

Playgroup birthday party

We decided to celebrate EVERY ONE'S birthday today! We made birthday hats, decorated cupcakes, sang, played games, and hit a pinata!

I think that they all had fun. Or, at least a nice big sugar rush right before dinner...

Nielsen's Grove Park playgroup activity

Nielsen's Grove is a fun place to play. Unfortunately, they decided to post signs that said "no wading or splashing" this year. Oh well, no one got sick and when we were all done there was a playgroup coming to do the exact same thing.

Not afraid to get his face wet anymore...

We took a little trip to Park City last night for swimming with our cousins. I think that Charlie had the most fun though. He's pretty much gotten over his fear of water this summer. I don't know how many times he made his Uncle Jeff launch him in the air, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's feeling it today.

Here's what Charlie said about it in an e-mail to my mom, "I was like blasted in space then went underwater fast. I felt like a rocket going into the water and it was fun!"

IASK news story on KSL

HERE is a news story that aired about our favorite humanitarian organization, IASK. Due to the birth of Frank Cougar it's not looking that either Greg or I will make it on the trip in November. (I told Greg to go.. but he's not listening to me... all the kid is going to do is sleep the first couple of weeks anyway, right?) Next year though you can join us!
