Color of the summer...

Another pretend shopping spree...

If I could wedge 3 car seats in the back seat I'd pick up this baby today. Alas, that would be impossible. But I'm loving that Compressed Natural Gas is only 63 cents/gallon in Utah and there's a station right by my house. And the $7,000 tax credit would be nice next year too. Oh yes - and it's really great for the environment - nearly zero emissions.

Pseudo shopping spree...

If I were on an internet shopping spree splurging right now here's what I would buy:

A set of these tumblers, this plush throw, this rug (then I wouldn't let my kids near it), these boots to make me smile on a rainy day, and finally, a subscription to this magazine:

I love shopping.

This weekend I found this shoe (but in BROWN!) on sale for $20. BUT I had a 25% off coupon and a $5 rewards certificate-- my price... $10!

Toy Recalls

There have been a lot of toy recalls due to lead paint. Enough so that it made me wonder if any of our toys have been recalled. So, I googled it and found this great site for the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. It lists all of the toy recalls (back to 1975 it says). After scrolling through several of them, I came across one toy that we own, but luckily it wasn't recalled because of lead paint but for a part that breaks off, and ours did. But I can't find it. Maybe I threw it away???

Okay - I totally just found another one. It's Jack's beloved puppy! He got it last Christmas at a neighborhood party and sleeps with it all the time. But honestly, the recall is because the pom poms can come off and pose a choking hazard, but I knew that when I gave it to him. (I just checked, the pom poms are still intact.)

SHOES - mission accomplished.

I found several choices of shoes to go with it, however, I happened upon these at Target today. I was totally prepared to spend $$$ for some cute shoes.. but at $6.24-- who could resist??? That's $3.12 per shoe - they're practically disposable!




I also stopped in at Old Navy.
I got 2 of these tank dresses for $.97 each--- great swimsuit cover ups...


I bought a new bag and a straw hat. I feel like going on a cruise.
